Italio River Adventures has been family owned and operated since 1999. The first group of clients joined us in 2001 after the camp was finished being built. Italio River Adventures is owned by Pat & his wife Lisa. Pat has been fishing the Italio River and many others along this stretch of coastline since he was a boy with his father Harold. Pat and Lisa met, married, and have spent each summer and fall outside of Yakutat, in the remote wilderness of Dry Bay, Alaska and the Italio River, where they raised their family while commercial fishing. The other two faces you will see at the Italio are Pat and Lisa's daughter Kaytlynn and her husband Brandt. Kaytlynn and Brandt have been full time guides with us out here at the Italio since 2016. Kaytlynn grew up commercial fishing and sports fishing with her family every summer in Dry Bay and now her and her husband continue that family tradition and spend half of their year in Alaska commercial fishing and Guiding and their winters in Idaho raising their 3 kids. "We love that we get to work together as a family and are so grateful the kids enjoy sharing fishing with others as much as we do. This is truly a family owned and operated business."
