We are a world class sports fishing, waterfowl, and adventure tourism business remotely located 25 air-miles outside of Yakutat, Alaska.

We are one of the few outfitters approved to operate on the Italio and Dangerous River Drainages located in the Tongass National Forest. Experience world-class fly-fishing with us at our family owned and operated place on the Italio River. Weather and fish permitting we are able to fish on the Old Italio, the Middle Italio, and the New Italio Rivers.

Our priority is that you enjoy your fishing trip and get to relax and experience the real remote wilderness of Alaska. 

About Us

Pat Robbins and his wife, Lisa, are the owners and operators of Italio River Adventures, providing everything you need, from fishing to five-star meals. We strive to make you feel at home during your stay. With over 25 years in business, we operate solely through word of mouth.

Fishing Trips

We provide a fully guided fishing trip, including charter plane service from Yakutat to our location on the Italio River. There are no additional charges for fish processing, and all meals are included.

The Camp

​Italio River Adventures is located within the Tongass National Forest. Our camp is accessible exclusively by small bush plane from Yakutat, Alaska. All necessary amenities are provided to ensure a comfortable stay.
